Three-star business-hotel Karelia is located in of the ecologically clean districts of St.Petersburg – on Neva river bank, overlooking parkland. Although the hotel is far from downtown it has reasonably fast transport links to Nevsky Prospekt and Moskovsky Station. Hotel Karelia was built in 1979 and was primarily catering to tourists from socialist countries and sports teams. The hotel was substantially renovated in 2007 and now offers 237 modern and well equipped guest rooms with WiFi and or Broadband Internet coverage. Due to its park location the hotel still offers a lot for lovers of outdoor activities, but also is quite attractive for business travelers. Karelia has ten varied MICE venues, with seating for between 20 and 330 people and a huge range of audiovisual equipment available for hire.
